Community Guidelines
Plain rules, in plain language. Every one of these maps to a report reason in the product — nothing is enforced that isn't written here, and nothing is written here that can't be reported.

No spam
Post projects you actually built. Don't submit the same thing repeatedly, don't post placeholder or empty projects to farm impressions, and don't use messages or collaboration requests to advertise something unrelated. There's a limit of three new projects per account per day, which is more than any genuine builder needs.

No scams or malicious links
No phishing pages, no malware, no crypto drainers, no fake login screens, no link that goes somewhere other than where it says. Link shorteners are rejected at submission because they can't be screened — post the destination URL.

Keep it work-safe
No sexual content, no gore, no content glorifying violence or self-harm. This is a place people open at work to look at side projects.
Report reason: Inappropriate content
No harassment
No targeted abuse, threats, stalking, or hate speech directed at people or groups. Harsh, specific criticism of a project is welcome — that's the entire point of the rating system. Attacking the person who built it is not.

Post what's yours
Don't submit someone else's project as your own, and don't use images, code, or branding you don't have the rights to. Copyright complaints have a separate formal process.

Be yourself
Don't pretend to be another person, a company, or MeshSail staff. Parody and pseudonyms are fine as long as they aren't designed to deceive.

Don't game the system
No multiple accounts, no rating rings, no automated rating, no trading ratings for ratings. Ratings gathered this way are reversed and repeat offenders lose their accounts. This isn't only about fairness — a rating system nobody trusts is worthless to everyone, including you.

Where these rules apply
All of them, everywhere: project cards and their descriptions, the commentson a project's page, rating comments, direct messages, team chat, and profiles. The report reasons listed above are the same list you see in the report dialog no matter which of those you are reporting — if something is prohibited here, there is a reason for it there.
Report and Block are never more than two taps from anything you can see. On a comment they are on the comment itself; on a project card they are in the actions row of its page. Blocking is mutual in effect and immediate: neither of you will see the other's projects, comments, ratings or messages afterwards.
What happens when something is reported
- You report it. Reports are confidential — we never tell the reported person who filed it.
- A single report never removes anything. Repeat reports from the same account count once.
- When 3 or more distinct accounts report the same thing, it is hidden automatically while a human reviews it. This is deliberately not unanimous — waiting for consensus means harmful content stays up — and deliberately not one report, which would make the system a harassment tool.
- A moderator reviews it and either restores it, removes it, or acts on the account. Every decision is logged internally with who made it and why.
- You can follow the status of everything you've reported in Settings → My reports.
If we act against your account
You will be told what rule was broken. If you think it was a mistake, reply to the notification email and a person will look at it again. We would rather reverse a wrong call than defend it.
These guidelines are part of the Terms of Service alongside the Acceptable Use Policy. For copyright specifically, use the DMCA process rather than the in-app report button — it has legal requirements a report form can't satisfy.
